5 Things to do while being stuck at home

I think we all have been to this point in quarantine or social distancing where we were just binge watching Netflix or any other streaming platform and were just doing nothing especially students or people who have way more time because of their Job situation. I personally just felt so unproductive and useless after a time and then I started to try to be more productive. Here are 5 Things that you can do while you are stuck at home:

1: Try something new

This time is the perfect time to try new things. It really doesn’t matter what it is unless you just step out of your comfort zone and learn new things. Here are some inspirations on what you can try:

2: Be active

I know it might sound strange to be “active” and workout in a time when you are in quarantine and in a time where you should do social distancing but it is actually the perfect opportunity to workout. There are so many different home workouts so you don’t even need a gym if yours isn’t reopened yet. If the circumstances allow you to exercise outside you should totally go for a run or even go for a walk. Especially because it is summer now and the weather is (normally) getting better and warmer you should use it to be active outside. You will feel so much better after just spending some time outside in the nature. It even helps you mentally and physically to feel better.

3: Read a book:

With all of your spare time you could also just read a good book instead of watching TV. You will feel much more educated and better after you read a book. There are so many different genres and there is a book type for everyone.

4: Spent time with your family and friends

If it is possible for you should spend some quality time with your family or your friends. It can be over FaceTime or if you are actually lucky enough to see them you could use your time with different activities.

It might seem useless to make a To-Do list or to set yourself a goal but it actually really helps you to stay focused and to stay motivated. It is really important for you to never stop setting goals and especially now setting small goals every single day is really important. It can be just a small goal like organizing your closet, doing your school assignment, cleaning your room, trying a new recipe or even reading a few chapters in a book. It doesn’t matter what goal you set you will feel good after you accomplished that goal and you will feel like you have done something productive.

At the End it is totally fine if you have bad days where you can’t find any motivation and where you just chill but these are just some ideas for you to do something productive and some things that make you feel like you have accomplished something.
