What is Frame and why do you need it?

Are you at the wheel?

To say that Frame is everything in society and relationships would be an understatement. Unsuccessful attempts at attracting new women, a relationship becoming boring, and a lack of confidence in a public setting all stem from a lack of Frame in your life. Why did characters like Casanova have women line up to be seduced by him? Why does a friend zoned individual never get the intimacy that he is chasing, no matter what he does for the woman he pursues? Frame.

To put it simply, Frame is the often silent and sometimes subconscious acceptance as to who is in control of the influence over the other person. Whoever controls the mood in the theatre you are operating controls the Frame. Frame can be obvious, like when you were a child operating under the rules that your parents established, but Frame can also be subtle, like when you stutter as you ask your waitress for her phone number while avoiding eye contact. In both examples, Frame is not under your control.

To operate under your own Frame is simple, but not always easy. You must ensure that you are not letting others involuntarily influence your frame of mind, behavior, or mood. As the masculine, this is crucially important for your everyday life because this world does not respect weak men. Period. If you identify as the masculine, it is your duty to produce, chase your purpose, and provide structure to the world around you. It is not your job to rely on your emotions to help you get what you want or to be pushed back and forth by the tide of emotions around you.

Speak up more in social settings. Stand up tall and roll your shoulders back. Look people in the eyes when you are speaking to them. Find your life purpose and chase it as if your life depends on it, because it does. It will be uncomfortable at first, but after practice it will become natural. You will become someone known for moving a crowd. You will become someone that is destined to go places. You will become someone that people respect.

After you consciously make an effort to operate in your own Frame (not second-guessing your decisions, chasing your life purpose, etc.) you will gain a certain coolness about your demeanor that will attract women. You’re still the same person — you just decided to live your life more meaningfully. Why are you attracting more women? Why are more women interested in what you have to say? Why did the woman at the bar respond positively when you told HER to buy you a drink? Because women are not attracted to weak men. Period. Women are attracted to men that display value. And can you blame them? If you were a woman that came up to a directionless, shy, and stuttering version of yourself would you be attracted to you? Absolutely not.

To live in the Frame of others is the same as sitting in the passenger seat of your own vehicle while someone else decides where you will go. You have your own dreams, goals, and destinations, but without you sitting at the wheel of the vehicle you call life, none of that will matter.

I am not saying to shut out outside opinions completely, but I am saying that it is important that we do not live regretful lives. We do not live our lives in fear of making anyone unhappy. Like the fisherman in my last posts, if you sacrifice everything to please the world around you, you will be left treading water gasping for air. So today, make a conscious decision to not let anyone influence your mindset or behavior if you don’t want them to.
