The Wind Blew My Tree Down

There was a small tree right outside my bedroom. It looked like a regular tree without much character.

Then one day in the spring, I found it bloom into small yellow blossoms and it looked pretty. It was a cloudy day and the tree gave me a sense of spring.

I looked it up and it seemed to be an Acacia. It also has a beautiful Chinese name “Xiang Si” which means missing someone in the heart.

But I didn’t have chance to appreciate it for too long. This week, after a night’s super strong wind, I found the tree fall on the ground. While sad for the tree, I feel glad that I took this picture on the other day. The tree is gone but the prettiness is still here.
