Identity for business center. Four Winds

It was 2008. The building had not been built completely and the task was short as shot: we need logo and basic stationery to start campaign with tenants. Developer had already chosen name for business centre—Four Winds Plaza.

I started to manipulate with digit 4 trying to connect it to wind. Baby toy whirligig (am I right to call it this way)? Why not? Considering the fact that client wanted something abstract and not related to real estate theme. But the idea seemed to be too light for me.

So I had to get one more sketch. Drinking the tea I suddenly saw it in my mind. To interbreed roman IV and W.

Logo was accepted at first sight.
